I founded a project a couple of years ago called XULUX (still under development, so to say, probably time for some release).
Just came across an announcement through the xul-announce mailinglist that a new project was there called XULU.
Can it get any more original than that ? Yes it can. The image actually just says XULUX.
Especially the TM makes me hurl.
I think I am going to release XULUX Studio this year :)
See Redback Systems for the originality award. A look at the image clearly show XULUX.
A simple search on the net (just like I did before I named the project XULUX) should have warned them that there is already something in the same area with the same name.
Hope they don't spoil the brand XULUX, since I am preventing to spoil the "brand" by still not having an official release of XULUX :)
Hope they will rethink there name, but as most companies I guess this will be something that will never happen.
Don't what a TM means in the UK, but I hope it is just to say : I want to trade under that name and it doesn't imply owner ship of the name.
At least it is open source..
